IOA participated with a booth to the XXV Congress of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology which took place in Vienna, Austria from 10-14 June, 2006.
The meeting’s main theme was “Basic Science in Allergology and Clinical Immunology: a Prerequisite for Improving Patient Care”. In the context of underdiagnosis of allergic rhinitis and considering the importance of early diagnosis, IOA proposed to the health care professionals visiting his booth a simple, fast and reliable diagnostic tool (SQUAR-E) for the screening of allergic rhinitis. This test is based on the results of data collected in the European epidemiological survey of Bauchau V et al.
