Managing allergy > Drug treatment in allergy
Allow enough time for your treatment to work

As mentioned earlier, allergic inflammation takes a longer time to treat than symptomatic aspects of allergy. Therefore, when using drugs which are primarily anti-inflammatory in nature, the effects may become visible only after a few days of treatment.

So do not worry if you don’t see a spectacular improvement in your symptoms immediately after starting the treatment.

Most importantly of all, don’t give up the treatment before allowing it a few days to become effective.
