Pie crust dough
Ingredients
500 g flour
125 g soft butter
10 g salt
200 - 300 ml water

Mix flour, butter and salt in a large bowl and make a hollow in the center. Little by little, add  the water in the center while moving the mix on the sides of the bowl to the center. Once  the dough is smooth, form it into a ball and leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll the dough with a rolling pin, place it in a buttered pie mold and then prick it with a fork.

Chef’s tip: this dough can also be made in a blender. In this case, put all the ingredients into  the mixing bowl and switch on the blender. It can be used as a crust for all types of fruit  pies or quiches, recipes for which are available on this website.
